Limpinwood - Escarpment Walls
Limpinwood Valley

Scenic Places.
Limpinwood Valley
Natural Bridge
Numinbah Valley

The valley containing the Limpinwood district is characterised by its stunning boundary walls formed largely by the escarpment walls of the extinct volcano's caldera. There is no town as such, although there is a hall! The scattered farms nestled beneath the towering caldera walls are extremely picturesque.

Limpinwood - Escarpment Walls

The escarpment walls formed by the explosion of the old volcano form part of the valley's walls and are spectacular in this locality.

Limpinwood - Garden Gate to Nowhere

This entry must at one time have led to a farmhouse here. Although it is now choked by long grass, the gate is constructed from palings and seems to beckon one home to a house that is no longer there.

Looking north from the access road as it descends into the valley.
